Arbor Gallery is looking for new artists for three upcoming shows:
October Show - Costume Extravaganza!
Description: Since this show ends on Halloween, we're featuring artwork involving costumes. Paintings, photos, sculptures, videos etc of people wearing costumes are all welcomed as well as actual costumes or costume elements you'd like to create for people (or animals) to purchase and wear. note: If you are creating costumes, please keep in mind when planning how to install your work, that the gallery does not have display manikins.
Dates of Show: Oct 15 – Oct 31
Vernissage:  Oct 16th 3-5pm
Drop off work date: on or before 5pm on Sun Sept 26 (by appointment)
Gifted! Show - Annual 'small works' Christmas show
Description: This show featured 'gifted' artists and 'giftable' artworks. Size restriction is max 20 x 20 inches and there is a suggestion is to keep your prices around $100 or less since this is in keeping with most people's gift budget. The gallery is also seeking arsenal goods for this show - handmade wood boxes, cutting boards, jewelry, scarves, etc. Unframed artworks will also be accepted into the gift shop area of the gallery. Please note that unframed works must be prepared for the show according to the gallery's guidelines attached to the exhibition contract.
Dates of Show: Nov 3 – Dec 12
Vernissage:  Nov 13, 3-5pm
Drop off work date: on or before 5pm on Sun October 24th (by appointment)
Jan 2011 - Weather
