Call for Submissions: KARSH-MASSON & CITY HALL ART GALLERIES

The City of Ottawa’s Public Art Program operates two professional galleries: Karsh-Masson Gallery and City Hall Art Gallery. Exhibitions of contemporary artwork in a wide range of styles and mediums are presented to promote and increase awareness of Ottawa’s visual arts. Exhibitions are chosen annually by a jury of local professional artists and art specialists. All submissions received are considered for both galleries.

ELIGIBLE EXHIBITIONS

  • Exhibitions by local, national and international professional artists working in fine art, craft, design and other new art forms
  • Exhibitions from local universities and the diplomatic sector
  • Exhibitions from the City’s Fine Art Collection as well as the archival and heritage collections
  • Curated exhibitions and circulating exhibitions from other institutions
  • Solo, two-person and group exhibitions
  • Exhibitions by emerging, mid-career and well-established professional artists

Hard copies will no longer be mailed out unless specifically requested.
