Hello,
We are looking to interview a local synesthete for an upcoming 3D documentary about the topic of Synesthesia. Synesthesia is also known as the “mingling of the senses” — where you can see sounds, or hear colors, or taste shapes, among other manifestations.

We want to spend a day with a synesthete to get a sense of how their extra perceptual ability affects them. We are then going to recreate that experience with 3D animation.

We will be shooting with a new 3D camera. The result will be a two-minute piece that will show the world exactly what it’s like to be a synesthete.

We are hoping that you could post our ad on your website, since many synesthetes are artists.

Also, if you have any contact information for a community group, etc., please reply to this email with any information you may have. It’s much appreciated!

If you’re interested, please send your contact information, as well as a few sentences about your synesthesia and how it affects your life to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please also include:
               * Your age
               * Your gender
               * A picture
We will need the talent to be available the week of July 12 in Ottawa.
We look forward to hearing from you, and hearing your story.
Cheers,
Nicole Viens
