SPECIAL CALL TO ALL TULIP ARTISTS!
The Canada Aviation Museum, a proud partner of the Canadian Tulip Festival, is offering artists the opportunity to paint 5-foot acrylic tulips in the museum.
These tulips have become an icon and are a favourite with visitors and tourists, as witnessed by the many pictures that are taken of them throughout the Festival.
This year’s theme is “Liberation:”  The Canadian Tulip Festival will commemorate the 65th anniversary of the liberation of The Netherlands by Canadian soldiers and the Canadian Navy’s Centennial.
We invite you to send us your proposals for painting a tulip by March 26th to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Painting of the tulips is scheduled to begin April 1st 2010.
