Come meet the artists! It’s an event not to be missed! Also, mark down Friday, November 5th at 12:30 p.m. on your calendar, when Marie-Jeanne Musiol will be giving a talk about her work.

In the first CTV Pops concert of the NAC Orchestra’s 2010-11 season, Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly leads the National Arts Centre Orchestra and more than a dozen singers and dancers in the spectacular Gotta Dance!  This all-singing, all-dancing musical extravaganza takes place in Southam Hall on Thursday November 4, Friday November 5, and Saturday November 6, 2010 at 8 p.m. The NAC Orchestra, under conductor Jack Everly, performs Gotta Dance! in Southam Hall of the National Arts Centre on Thursday November 4, Friday November 5, and Saturday November 6, 2010 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20.45, $31.21, $42.51, $53.81, $64.57, $75.33, and $94.17 for adults and $11.38, $16.76, $22.41, $28.06, $33.44, $38.82, and $48.24 for students (upon presentation of a valid student ID card). Tickets are available at the NAC Box Office (in person) and through Ticketmaster (with surcharges) at 613-755-1111; Ticketmaster may also be accessed through www.nac-cna.ca.

Join us at the gallery Thursday, November 4th from 7 - 9 pm to celebrate the opening of Beyond Buja: A Return to East Africa, a collection of images by Ottawa photographer and filmmaker Bridget Farr depicting life in Burundi.  100% of the artist's profits from the sale of prints will go to The Burundi Film Center, a non-profit organization that helps youth in Burundi learn to use mass media communication technology as a tool to inspire, educate and entertain. The exhibition will be on display from November 3 - 21, 2010.
