Four unique parts collided to make one majestic sound in 2008. What started as a onenight stand at a party has quickly turned into one of the most powerful forces in the LA music scene. Their chemistry is evident at their explosive, emotional live shows, where devoted fans line up around the block to catch a glimpse and feel the energy. Vaughan founded the iconic Fabulous Thunderbirds in 1974, and they became famous for the high-octane bluesrock sound that earned them critical acclaim in the ’70s and platinum-selling albums in the ’80s. RIPCORDZ
Black

www.myspace.com/ripcordz
Dist: Warner Music Canada

The Ripcordz haven't been around forever. It just seems that way - Since 1980 to be precise. The band has built a huge cult following across Canada combining a lot of influences…from punk to rockabilly, hardcore and rock n’ roll (but not Emo) – to create their own signature sound. They call that sound KIDNOISe and the center of it all is Fun. Now these Canadian Punk legends return with their thirteenth album -- and it looks like a lucky number for all of us. The band keeps its signature distortion on the guitars (and voice), but stirs in a little more rock 'n roll this time around.

Welcome to Canada Kylie

May I just say I hope this is Kylie's break-through into the North American market? For years she has been one of the most important dance artists globally, but here in Canada and the U.S., most people could care less. I think with the amount of airplay and buzz already surrounding "All The Lovers", this might just be enough to finally get her a break here. And it's about time!
