"The Nude Show" this Friday, November 12th from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Snapdragon Gallery, for the first time, presents four artists and the nude: Gayle Kells, is well known for her themes of women's dresses and under garments, both in sculpture and in paint. Here is the body, voluptuous and unconstrained. Roy Whiddon presents black and white photography in three areas: studio shots that are sculptural and enigmatic, couples that are balletic in their togetherness and their solitude and an outdoor series "au naturel." The show is balanced with two emerging artists, Celina Gunn (acrylic) and Ivy Deavy (mixed media) who offer sometimes bold and sensual, sometimes soft and touching works. The artists will offer a few words on their work, with discussion to follow, at 7.00 pm. | 791 Bank Street at Third Avenue
