fight against all women's cancers.This Friday, 25th September, from 7.00pm to 10.00pm, upstairs at the gallery "Uncovered:" Erotic Sculpture in clay from the important 91 year old Montreal artist Harold Schneider (F.R.S.A.). It is very rare that these works are for sale. Snapdragon Gallery, 791 Bank Street The Ottawa Sculpture Show is presented by the National Capital Network of Sculptors this weekend, September 25 - 27, 2009.
The show displays a remarkable cross section of sculpture in a multitude of media, styles and working methods from 26 local artists. There are bronze, marble and glass sculptures, wood carving and assemblages, iron and forged metals, as well as multimedia pieces and other forms of three dimensional art.

Eliza Gilkyson is a third-generation musician who was inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame in 2003 alongside such luminaries as Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt and Nanci Griffith. Eliza's recordings reveal the depth of her political and personal convictions and her "Land of Milk and Honey" CD was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2004. "Her songwriting has a Dylanesque quality as her tunes burst with edgy lyrics and poetic imagination.
