I like to fantasize . . . in the sexual sense. Sexual fantasy can be a healthy, enjoyable way to experience sex alone or with other people. Sexual fantasies can be images and ideas of something you want to experience or not. Some people fantasize with no intention or desire to live out the fantasy; rather, it's just something that turns them on. I find that sexual fantasy is commonly viewed as a sign of frustration. It's seen as something to be used when there's a sexless void or when one's sexual needs aren't being met. While this may be true for some, sexual fantasy can also be a sign of sexual satisfaction. Countless sexually satisfied people enhance their sex play by fantasizing, and I'm definitely one of them. When it comes to partnered sex, I think those who can freely, openly and comfortably share their sexual fantasies with one another have achieved the most enviable and rewarding stage of sexual communication (and probably have amazing sex). Role play is a particular type of sexual fantasy that typically involves people taking on characters and/or acting out a sexy scenario as part of their sex play. Costumes, props, and special locations may all be used to carry out any given role play. I'll admit I'm still a novice when it comes to role-playing, but, as I said, I do like to fantasize. So, here are my top 5 role play fantasies: 5. Dirty Doctors One of the first pornos I ever rented with friends, back in high school, was called Dirty Nurses. It couldn't have been more cliché - sexy female nurses getting it on with their not-so-hot male doctor superiors. My distaste for this scenario is the reason you'll never see me dress up as a "naughty nurse" for Halloween.
Grey's Anatomy Doctors
Popular TV shows (and a certain McDreamy) have also made it hard for me to not want to experiment acting out a doctor/doctor sex session. Paging Dr. Sexy . . . 4. Young and the Really Restless
Young and the Restless Characters
So, due to my adolescent let down, I am now an adult who wouldn't mind pretending she's like a soap opera character when having sex. This role play would require a few elements that I particularly enjoy, namely, expensive underwear; expensive alcohol; an expensive hotel room; and, preferably, a film crew. 3. Sarah Palin and Almost Anyone
Palin and Obama
2.The Classic High School Fantasy for the New Millennium
High School Musical Hearthrobs
I already touched on one cliché but another big one is the high school jock/cheerleader or cheerleader/cheerleader fantasy. Been there, done that. The skirts are cute, but, in my view, this fantasy role play is overrated. Instead, why don't you imagine this scenario I'd like to try? Turning your bathroom into a sexy steam room (just turn your shower on and watch the steam fill the room) and stationing yourself in there, along with your partner, wearing nothing but football jerseys. You make eyes with each other, similar to the glances you've both stolen in the past. Only this time, all of the other guys have left the locker-room. It's just you and Hunky McHunkerson . . . In this scenario, a slap on the behind doesn't come after the game, it's what gets the game going. 1. "Just Call Me Lt. A-Whore-a" I have never been a Trekkie. In fact, I have, on many occasions, made fun of those who were. I did so, however, without ever watching a single Star Trek movie or episode until recently. Given the buzz surrounding J.J. Abrams' Star Trek earlier this year, I went to the theatre to view the new movie. I saw this action as a bit of a compromise since my lover happens to love Star Trek, and I never wanted to give it a chance.
Zoe Saldana in Star Trek
Well, maybe it was partly because of the excitement of the packed theatre or that extra scoop of TCBY frozen yogurt, but I found myself surprisingly enjoying the movie. Not only that, but I saw how Star Trek could actually be sexy and Zoë Saldana's Lt. Uhura had a lot to do with it. Call me superficial but I was sold on those slouchy boots and that killer red uniform. The sentimental part of me was also sweetened by Uhura and Spock's love. All in all, the USS Enterprise seems like a rather ideal setting for some make-believe role-playing. The close quarters; the hormonally-charged atmosphere; and the risky nature of the mission are enough to make anyone ready for some sexual action. So, Lover, cancel your plans . . . I think it's time I beam you up.
Related:Looks like Steve Dominey would like to engage in a little high school fantasy role play as well. Kevin Johns also has a thing for Star Trek.
